“And he said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And he said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.'” Acts 9:5

The account of the apostle Paul’s conversion to Jesus Christ is a witness to the power of the Spirit of God in crashing through the barriers of unbelief. Can you think of the walls of resistance that stood between you and placing your trust in Jesus Christ? In Paul’s case the barriers of family, religion, and spiritual blindness gave him a false sense of security. The truth is that unbelief can masquerade as loyalty to God when we can’t see things as they really are. Do we think we are going to heaven because you were doing the right things? Conversion is turning from the sin of unbelief and turning to Christ in faith. Paul’s story in Acts 9 shouts from the roof tops that being born again changes everything in one’s life. Jesus Christ opened Paul’s spiritual eyes to who he really was, a sinner, and who Christ is, the Savior. What is your story?
