“Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified.” Isaiah 60:21

Hopefully you are thinking and praying for the nation of Israel. She is in the news regularly. God has spoken in such a way that we can know some facts about Israel’s future. The promise of Isaiah 60:21 is that Israel will possess the Promised Land forever. This will occur when Israel, at the return of her Messiah, will believe. The millennial kingdom will be the utopia for which many people have longed (Isa. 60:22). But before the gathering of Israel in belief there will a gathering in unbelief (Ezekiel. 20:33-38; 22:17-22; Zeph. 2:1-2). Isaiah 11:11 speaks of a “second time.” The first time is, no doubt, what has happened in bringing Israel into nationhood, with land, in 1948. Pray for Israel that many Jews will see that their hope is to be in the Messiah (Isa. 53). At the present time Iran through Hamas and Hezbollah and other proxies is seeking to destroy Israel.
