Testing the Spirits

We live in a world filled with people who tell lies about God. It is only by means of the all-sufficient Word of God that lies about God can be detected. The Christmas season is upon us. Christian, put your discernment hat on and celebrate the birth, life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The apostle John, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, determined it necessary to counter the rising false teachings about the Son of God. Therefore, it is asserted that all claims of divine revelation must be tested by what is said about Jesus Christ. Hinduism believes that material appearances or the incarnation of a deity on earth are called avatars. All cartoons to the contrary. The only true incarnation of God on this earth is Jesus Christ. The Spirit of God declares that Jesus really lived. Christ was the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament. He has come and is now at the right hand of the Father carrying out His work as our High Priest. To say that Jesus “has come” assumes that He was somewhere before He came to earth. He existed in eternity past. This Jesus, conceived in the womb of Mary, existed as a person who has two natures. He was fully God and fully man. Let these wonderful truths about the Christ of Christmas flow in their sweetness over our minds and hearts. H
