“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

The Bible is the most unusual book in the world. It cries out for personal decision to be made in response to its exhortations. Are you reading it daily? The Bible has unlimited capability. It regenerates as God’s instrument of bringing about the new birth. It opens eyes by enabling its readers to understand how God wants us to think and live. It changes nations by changing attitudes. The man or woman who has a poor attitude, wrong thinking, the Scriptures confronts that individual and turns him around. Great movements of God in human history are evidence of this. Martin Luther, the father of the Reformation said, “I simply taught, preached, wrote God’s Word: otherwise I did nothing. And while I slept, or drank Wittenberg beer with my Philip and my Amsdorf, the Word so greatly weakened the papacy that never a Prince or Emperor inflicted such damage upon it. I did nothing. The Word did it all.” If you listen to God’s Word, it will change your life.
