Choices! We have many of them to make in life. There are decisions that come out of awe of God. That is biblical wisdom. Like the keys on a piano. They are to be played in harmony with one another. Ask God to keep you on the path of living life His way. There is another way and it’s not good. The one who is not dancing to God’s tune is a fool. The fool has a discernment deficit disorder. The quick sand of poor judgment, lack of discernment, and inattentiveness to the divine order in life is nothing but trouble. Wisdom tells us that right living is the best insurance policy. Solomon knew something about financial gain. The pursuit of financial gain without God promises what it can’t provide. Only God can satisfy us. It is better to lay up treasures in heaven. Living for the pursuit of monetary prosperity will be death. Death in Proverbs is being cut off from the goodness and blessing of God. There is death in time and also in eternity. Death comes to those who hate wisdom (Prov. 8:36). Above all things be a wisdom seeker.
