Younger women spend time in front of a mirror. This is not a criticism, just a matter of upkeep of appearance. While you are looking in the mirror, what kind of woman do you see? A healthy church is made up of younger women who display the precious jewel of Christian truth. Older Christian women have an important role in passing on the truth of God as it has been woven into years of experience. Taught to love? Many think love is something you fall into, an emotional, romantic adventure. Viva la romance, but love has to be taught. The demands of love have to be explained. Daughters need to be prepared for marriage. Older women, do you have the credibility necessary to teach the younger women? Great harm is done to the reputation of the gospel when younger Christian women neglect their husbands and children. The pursuit of self-indulgence is like antifreeze in a husband’s coffee. Ladies, are you committed to the spiritual welfare of your husband? Does he know you respect him?
